This guy stays in the race even though the woman he loves and the mother of his children is dying? What kind of sick person would keep going in his longshot quest to ruin our country when he has enough money (stolen from our battered health care system) to spend every moment they have left together with her?

I guess the same kind of person who celebrates these three hypocritical notions:

1) Support of government interference in health care when his overblown lawsuits helped create the fiscal health care mess in the first place

2) Claims to be for the poor, but has a $6 million dollar gated home with an indoor movie theater (with exactly zero homeless people invited to stay there)

3) Claims to be an evangelical, but aligns himself with social liberal views (the latter being his only good point)

What do you think?

Personally I just can't believe someone would choose his career over his wife and his family in such a blatant manner... I mean, he's rich beyond belief and could live comfortably and enjoy the time he has left with his wife... but no, he's still running knowing full well he doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of winning....

Yes, obviously you are a Fox fan! If you even had a remote clue as to the relationship John and Elizabeth have, you would know he did NOT make this decision all on his own for god's sake!! Elizabeth has ALWAYS been supportive of John and this is no different.

This is one family who has gone thru several life-changing events in their lives, and it is like they said in the press conference on Thursday, they are not going to sit in the corner and cower. That is not them! They have always said this campaign is not about them, it is about you and I and America!

I believe his wife told him to stick with it. If that is the case he should. And be prepared, if she were to campaign, that he will experience a wave of growing support (obviously as a team they will garnish 3/4 press time and 90% of of the Oprah-like human interest and empathy drams) unless he says something really stupid.

No I lost respect for him the last election when I found out info on the cases he pushed and his arguments in them. He still can not be taken seriously based on his fluff campaign again.

I was amused by his response that he did not want to cower in the corner that he wanted to face this adversity by running.

I find it just the opposite. He is cowering in the corner by running. He should be home supporting his wife and facing the adversity.

AH...you listen to FOX...She isn't dying like will be dead tomorrow, silly person. She has a bone cancer that is treatable, just not cureable, like diabetes. Get your facts straight, or drink the kool-aid.
