Hi i am new to computer. i am having a problem with pop ups. on gogle tool bar i have the message of 81 blocked & when i click it , it says pop ups . can anybody tell me what are pop up& how can i remove this blocked81. please don,t give the answer if u don't know . thanks

you should leave it alone... its doing a good thing. It means that it has blocked 81 advertisements from popping up over the window you are currently viewing.
if you actually WANT a window to pop up you have to go into the settings of the popup blocker and allow that certian website you want to popup to show from.
Don't bother removing the "blocked 81" thing... its just counting and telling you how many it has blocked.
If this number counts up pretty fast every day you might want to install and run Adaware SE personal (www.lavasoft.com or www.download.com ... just search for it) it will get rid of any spyware/malware you might have that could be causing the advertisements to pop up in the first place.

The google toolbar has blocked 81 windows that you didn't ask for since it was installed.
That's a good thing.
To break it down:
A pop-up is normally an advertisement that "pops up" out of no where without warning or you wanting it to.
Google toolbar has blocked 81 of these pesky annoyances for you so you don't have to be bothered with seeing them and closing them.
You cannot "remove the 81 blocked" popups. You can, however, disable your pop-up blocker and squirm around the internet trying to avoid all instances of pop-ups OR you can just say "Thank you google toolbar and keep up the good work on making my web surfing more pleasureable!" :)

A popup is a window that opens on top of all others and contains an ad. You normally don't want them and you let the blocker block them. Some sites open essential popups that are not ads. You can set the blocker to allow them on these sites.
You do not want turn the blocker off. There is also one built into most browsers but the Google toolbar has one that replaces them.
