Does anyone else find it appauling that he's still running for President when his wife has just been diagnoised w/Stage 4 Breast Cancer?

He's a good candidate, and he has my vote. Why should he simply give up his dream? Perhaps his wife wants him to stay in the race. There's nothing appalling about that at all.

Its appalling that he has a 26,000 sq.ft. house, but says he only lives in 10,000 sq.ft., but wants the rest of us to reduce our energy consumption.

Seems somewhat like a hypocrite. Especially since he refused to reveal his monthly energy bill.

Personally, I think it is a little weird. But, I feel genuinely sorry for them and their small children. Maybe dropping out would be a sign of surrender for them with Elizabeth and her survival chances? Who knows ... as much as I don't like Edwards politically, I respect their choice.
