Im not sure if its barely or barkely but its a cereal for babies. Im just concern wat is it. The pediatrician told me i can start giving him cereal. He recommends me to start with rice n then change to barely or barkely. wat is that though?

Barley is like wheat. it is a grain. These are the simplest foods to digest and rarely cause allergies.

lol. sorry but it's funny. It's called barley. It smells differently than the other baby cereals. My son prefers oatmeal baby cereal. He also likes mixed baby cereal. Barley is his last choice. I would definitly start out feeding your baby rice cereal for a few weeks until he gets used to it then I would say try oatmeal baby cereal, then barley, then mixed. Try them all and mix it up as long as your baby doesn't hate one or the other feed him a variety. That goes for fruits and veggies, too. And don't give up, you may think he hates it but he just may not be used to it yet. Keep trying!

It's an oates and grains type of cereal.
