I just had a baby 8 months ago and I had a tubal ligation 6 months ago. My cycles went back to normal right after the surgery but now I am 2 months late. I think I'm pregnant again. I was researching the probability of ectopic pregnancy after a tubal ligation and it's pretty low. I don't know if this is something I should be worried about or should I just cross my fingers and wait.

I would take a home pregnancy test and contact your doctor, just to be on the safe side. It's true ectopic pregnancies are rare, but they do cause internal bleeding that is often fatal if not caught in time.

it's absolutely possible. it isnt the most common thing out there, but it does happen. Nothing is 100% guaranteed when it comes to the human body.

However, you may not necessarily be pregnant. There's the stress and diets that affect it all. Too much stress, you'll be late. Change your diet too quickly, you're late. It could be either one, or maybe both. I say go for an HPT and if it comes out as either a + or a 'division sign' then you should go for bloodwork and what-not.

but just in case, don't take any unapproved medicines or anything else that may affect your possible pregnancy!

i would go to the doc, most of the time if it is a tubal, it probably wont show on the hpt, cause it does not have the hcg that you would normally have if the embryo implants in the uterus. I would go to your ob and have them do blood work and if positive obviously they would do an ultrasound immediately.

Have you taken a test?? I would test first, and if the test is positive call your OB immediately! An eptopic pregnancy if left untreated can be fatal due to internal bleeding.

Forgot the critics my chum. Writing is a private concern and it is your thoughts and thoughts you're expressing. i admire your artwork on account that is own. i do no longer likely care approximately acceptable shape. Perfection is uninteresting and over rated besides. that is like a song performed too completely. it incredibly is chilly and impersonal. supply me a sprint sloppiness and emotion any day.

I don't know how many kids you already have, but I suffered infertility for 8 years. Stories like yours always made me cringe, WHY??? - people who really want kids, can't have them, then people that get pregnant by shaking hands don't want them. Accept the blessing and be aware that there are people who would do anything to be in your position.

Here's an option, have the baby and give it up for adoption to someone who CAN'T get pregnant!

If you are 2 months late you should take a hpt to see if it comes up (+). Then contact your doc.
