I have the Sims 2 and one of my sims is sick. Is there a cure for this? I've read that rest works, but how much rest? Also, is there a cheat that can cure him of this? He's been sneezing and coughing.

Make sure your sim is lying down for the whole time or sleeping so they can recover, but each illness is defferent from one to the next.

Make them relax in bed, and get plenty of sleep. Then a little bubble will come up saying that your sim is cured! Hope this helps!

Just keep your Sim off their feet even if it's just relaxing in bed reading a book until the pop-up comes up that your Sim is better now. keep all there needs in the green

Open your cheat window: Ctrl Shift C
Type in: boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true
(IS case sensative)
Hit Enter
Cheat window should close
Hold the Shift down while clicking on a sim
A menu will pop up
Click "Spawn..."
Another menu will pop up
Click "MakeMeSick Tester"
A cube will appear
Click on it...
A menu will pop up
Click "Make Me Immune"
I'm not sure if this will work on a sim that is already sick, but try it anyways...this is a fun cheat, play around with it.

Just keep him in bed, or on the couch, and have someone else cook meals for him. It doesn't take long, just a few days, and you can always call in sick to work.

make sure they stay in bed all the time. don't even get up to use the bathroom. just press ctr+shift+c, then type in maxmotives and press enter every time they get low. do this until the thing pops up that they're better.
