Only if the person stole from you in the first place. Yes it is fair to steal your stuff back.

Possession is 90% of the law they say...your stealing is as wrong as the person that stole it from you in the first place. Go to the law and let them handle it...don't go to jail trying to get your stuff back....remember....it is just STUFF material things you can replace, probably!
