Don't listen to these people, you are DEFINITELY on to something! The mirror/heat vision theory doesn't hold water. To cut "super hair" the mirror would have to have absolutely perfect reflectivity. Even a zillionth of a percent reflective inefficiency would both instantly destroy the mirror and prevent The Man of Steel from getting his haircut.
If he does his own hair, he may possess some sort of kryptonite (not green, of course) enhance Flo-Bee.
If it IS possible to kill the Son of Jorell (don't bother me about spelling) with hair clippers, you should have considered the fact that there are at least 1200 "LexLuthor" handle variations on Yahoo, and you KNOW that one of them is the real deal. You may have signed Superman's death warrant by posting this! Even now, Lex may be donning his toupe and swinging by his local Walmart to check out the prices on Remington hair cutting gadgets. Is Superman doomed? How will the world survive without it's hero?
Nice going, Brainiac. Thanks.

Superman cuts his hair & shaves his facial hair by using a blast of his heat vision directed off of a very small piece of the rocket he came to earth in. This was shown in the John Byrne "Man of Steel" issue #4 that came out in 1986. Nice try though. Maybe the hairclippers could kill him if they were imbued with magic.
Superman's vulnerabilities are Kryptonite (all colors but Blue, because blue only works against Bizarro) & Magic.

The answer is No. Superman cuts his own hair by using his heat vision and refracting it on a mirrior for trims. Outside of Kryptonite the only other weakness that superman had, and I say had because I believe this is no longer the case is Magic.

No, because no such pair of scissors exist. The real secret behind Superman's hair is that it's really the driving force behind his secret identity.
If you ever notice Clark Kent. His hair is off to one side, but presto change-o when he's superman it goes to the other side.

Nope ..your clipper theroy is crap. like the first dude said he uses hisheat vison to pin point hairs..though it doesn't make since that his heat vision can burn his hair..but the sun is much hotter then his heat vision ..so that kinda doesn't make since.

I would like to add something that none of the other answerers seem to have noticed. Yes, Superman does use his heat vision to trim his hair and give himself a shave and manicure. However there are two points to consider.
First, his invulnerability. Since Crisis, when John Byrne began drawing Superman, his invulnerability has been defined as a combination of two things. One is the fact that Kryptonians are just plain tough (several times denser tissues than we have, due to generation sunder a heavy gravity field.) The other is the fact that he has a force field (Martha Kent noticed that clothes next to his skin never seemed to get dirty or torn.) Superman’s individual hairs are probably like titanium wires and his fingernails are probably like steel (NOT diamond, as they used to be pre-Crisis.) But, if you can get past his force field, they can be cut. That is how Doomsday killed him, by negating his force field (though since it was invisible to begin with, nobody realized that was what was happening.)
Second, his heat vision. I hope it is clear to everybody that Superman’s heat vision is not generated in his eyeballs and projected outward as beams…? If this were the case, then he would indeed have a problem with the mirror melting. His impression that he needed to use a mirror made of Kryptonian material was not totally unfounded. However, later experimentation showed that he could use a large (concave) reflector of Earth material which would then focus (concentrate) the ‘beams’. However, he still overlooked something.
Superman’s heat vision is not generated in his eyeballs and projected out as beams. The various super powers Kal El has were intended to be the ultimate development of Kryptonian warsuit technology, reduced to artificial biosystems implanted in a child in its gestation matrix (in which Kal El was sent to Earth. If you examine all the systems of the Kryptonian warsuits, these are the powers he has. They were the next generation of warsuit, which were never used on Krypton because it was destroyed before there was another war.
The strength, invulnerability, etc. were all based on force fields, powered by their Kryptonian physiology (boosted by yellow solar rays) and triggered by mental commands. There is an issue where Superman returns to Krypton and is instructing a Kryptonian (his father, I think) in the use of heat vision. He tells him that to turn it on, he must focus as close to himself as possible, then as far as possible, then reverse the process to turn it off. If these were natural powers rather than bioengineered powers, we would call them ‘psionic”.
The heat vision is a ranged energy attack capability. It is activated as described above, but the source of power is not Superman’s own body. [The source of power for the CONTROL SYSTEMS is his own bodily reserves of solar power, so that he cannot hurt himself with it when his invulnerability fades as his solar power is depleted.] Superman himself probably does not realize it, but what he does is to open a unidirectional ‘pinhole’ to a source of energy-- probably the star that Krypton orbited.
(This accounts for the fact that heat vision can affect or even hurt Kryptonians—it counteracts some of the yellow solar radiation stored in their tissues and they are especially susceptible to it.)
Because he uses his eyesight to target this power, it SEEMS like it comes from his eyes. Superman has probably never tried using his heat vision through a closed-circuit tv system, but it would work! Just as when he looks at himself in an ordinary mirror made of non-Kryptonian materials, the heat appear at the point he sees (his beard), not the point he is looking at (the mirror.)
If Superman were to see a reflective surface behind a bad guy that provided a clear enough image for him to target, the ‘pinhole’ would open behind the bad guy and intense amounts of solar power would come through, and the guy would be fried. Then Superman would wonder how he as able to ‘project’ his heat vision behind the guy, and he might figure out a thing or two. There are not actual beams of energy coming out of his eyes— he doesn’t have to have an indestructible reflector.
This is similar to his other vision powers. Superman is not capable of detecting x-rays with his retinae or optic nerves, and he does not project x-rays from his eyes. His so-called ‘x-ray’ vision is more like clairvoyance, and his ‘super hearing’ is clairaudience.
To answer your original question, no you can’t kill Superman with hair clippers, not unless they are from Krypton.

No. His hair is super hard. He keeps it inline by using a mirror and his heat vision.
