Giggles*...Cassidy is right, by the way, the real name of Yondaime is called 'Arashi', the Kanji meaning is storm.
Since the person using the Toad prior to Naruto is a man called 'Arashi', who else but Yondaime?? ^__^

Well no one is really sure but me and my friends at our anime club have come up with the theory.
The fourth Hokage used the forbiden sealing tecnique on the nine tailed fox but because he was so powerful the god of death couldn't even steal his soul. Instead It drained him of all his jutsus and all his power,Here is a small spoiler
The fifth Hokage ,as well as many others said that during that time the only two ninjas able to use the rasengan were Jiraiya and the fourth.
It's not that hard to believe that sasuke was able to learn the chidori it is only a C class jutsu,While the rasengan is an S class jutsu A.K.A. Best of the best there is no way a simple kid could learn the tecnique. but yeah NARUTO RULES!!!!!!!

They never say it straight out but they give you enough clues:
~who else would he seal the fox in
~why else would the hokage treat him so kindly
~they also say that hokages either trained with or are a decendent of a previous hokage
ex/ tsunade is the granddaughter of the 1st and trained under the third
~in the pics u see in the anime they look alot alike, almost identical except the age and u can really see it after the time-skip
~and on the trip w/ jiraya to get tsunade to be the 5th jiraya remineses and thinks something along the lines of: u were right fourth, he will be strong and a kage. something like that.

i think so, cuz naruto and the 4th hokage both have blue eyes and blond hair!
the 4th hokage practically is like an older image of naruto
also, about a week ago, i was thinking why did the 4th hokage chose naruto of all people to seal the nine'tailed fox in? so the 4th hokage must have a connection with naruto!
so possibly naruto is the 4th hokage's son

No information has been released about it and it is just a rumor until the creators confirm it. You'll just have to wait for the manga to say something about it.
