You have to tell her that you appriciate her caring about you but you would rather pick out your own clothes. Shes going to keep on doing this unless you tell her how you feel.

Well, if you don't like it, you're going to have to suck it up. Until you start working and making your own money to buy your own stuff, there really isn't anything you can do. It already seems like you have suggested what you liked, but, obviously, she doesn't like your style much either. You can always try taking the clothes she's bought and try to make them look better.
You need to evaluate what type of clothes you are picking up for your mother to pay. Are they overly expensive? This might be why your mother doesn't buy you the type of clothes you want.

hang in there two more years, then you can join the Military. they let you wear anything you want and wear the coolest haircuts. but you might have to kill people. or die. or you could just enjoy being young because you'll be making your own way soon enough. p.s. when your still living in your mothers basement at 33 years old , I hope she reminds you of this. My parents beat and abused me. I was blinded in my left eye at two years old, just for fun. my cloths came from the Goodwill and Salvation Army. enjoy your pampered life.

As fare as having to wear the clothes, she picks out, at school, just say you picked em out.

Damn, sucks for you. Tell her to give you the damn reciept when she goes shopping! Just joking.
Talk to her and tell her how you feel. I'm sure she will understand. She just is afraid that you are growing up too fast. Take charge and assert your age.
But that shirt! LOL

Wear your sister's hand-me-downs... at least they'll look better than the clothes your mom is buying for you!
