1994 rang I can not get the quick disconnect from the trans can i cut the line and just replace it?

I have pushed the white plactic part all the way down and it will not cme out. I need to replace the clutch assemble.I have it all ready to come down but I can't get the hydrolic line a part

Try spraying the connector with wd 40 and make sure you get some up into the connector. Work the plastic piece in and out several time and it should come apart.

if it is like my 98f150 i took the a can of spray paint took off the lid and cut a peace just big enough to go around the line pushed the line in and wrap the peace around the line and push it up it should release the clips
