Of course, always make sure there is a shallow dish of vegetables available for the lizard for when he is hungry.

Also, if he's not used to eatting just veggies yet, you will have to feed him something that moves, crickets, wax worms, or meal worms. Lizards are naturally attracted to the movement of them, and will instantly eat them when they see them moving.

Mix the veggies and the worms together so he sees the movement in the veggies so maybe he'll accidently eat the veggies, and get used to eating out of his feeding dish, and start eatting veggies regularly. If he's having a problem eating the veggies out of the shallow dish, they sell vibrating food dishes at Petsmart and other pet stores to create the illusion that they are moving, so they will be attracted to it.

And of course you can try holding the veggies in front of his face and wiggling it and he may eat it out of your hand. Depending on what type of lizard it is, you might not want to try that with some.

Good luck.

feed it a few crickets every day and keep a dish of meal worms in the cage at all times so that it can eat whenever it wants. Also keep a fresh dish of water in the tank at all times.

You want to feed your lizard every other day. Lizards will stop eating when they are not hungry anymore.
