Having done a little background reading on the subject, I'd say Friedrich Nietzsche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra. I haven't read the book, but I found the snippet quoted in the Wikipedia just about reduced me to hysterics.
I can see further reading is necessary.

No clue wut that words mean (nihilism, i even looked it up and didn't inderstand it) but my fav book is Harry Potter
