Hi, I have a problem. The 2008 elections are held on November 4, but I turn 18 on November 5. Is there any possible way for me to vote?

PS: Obama all the way!

Check with the laws of your state. Most states DO require that you be 18 years old ON ELECTION DAY, but it's a good idea to check with your local elections supervisor (usually in your county government) to see if any exceptions apply.

nope you have to be 18 the day of the election because you can't register to vot until you turn 18 & you have to be a registered voter. Sorry!

No, and if that is the way you were going to vote, maybe it's a good thing.

How frustrating for you!

However, though you can't vote, you can ask trusted members of your friends and family who otherwise might not vote to vote Obama as your birthday present :-)
