I already play basketball, but only that. I want to become one of those kids that have to do sports about four times a week. I am 11, and going into sixth grade. I am tough, a good kicker, and ready for anything!

Sure you could go for another team sport. But why not try something different like climbing, swimming or martial arts? In all that business with your body, don't neglect your mind and soul. Whatever you decide to do, have fun with it.

Maybe you should try soccer. Both of my sons played and I have 2 nieces who play now (one of them is 11 like you). They all have really enjoyed the game. From what you said I think it would be perfect for you to try. Another great thing about soccer is that is doesn't cost that much to play when compared to other sports. This will be a good selling point to your parents when you approach them about playing. Being a parent with 3 kids I know that money can be an issue. Good luck with what ever sport you choose!!!
