Avoid class action lawsuits, company will get punished, your pet wont come back, you will get $40 and a coupon for free pet food. However the lawyers will get 40% of the entire settlement. http://www.biyts.info and you will see what happened in the asbestos and tobacco cases. There has to be a better way to avenge your pet. I am sorry about your pet by the way.

I'm not sure if I would join the lawsuit. I would want the company to take responsibility for what happened to my pet, but I wouldn't want any money (doesn't make grieving any easier) - assuming that money would be what the pet owners would get out of the lawsuit.
I would probably just go it alone; I would want the company to recognize my suffering and the suffering of the other pet owners and I would want a very SINCERE apology.
And I am sorry for your loss. I had to put my dog down almost three years ago; I had her since I was about 4 years old so she was all I ever knew. I know what you're going through and it's tough; I can't imagine how must harder it must be for you knowing that your pet died senselessly. Good luck to you in whatever course you choose to take.

I feel for all those who lost pets... I truely do and dont want this taken the wrong way.
However besides medical bills if any incurred should be paid...after that
How much money was your beloved family pet worth? I know I could never ever put a dollar amount on my dogs. so no amount of money will make me feel better about their mistake. ( I dont think they did this to kill our pets... wouldnt be good for business)

I would join the lawsuit, because as far as I'm concerned, your pet is a part of your family, too. It's almost as bad as them poisoning one of your children, or your brother or sister to me, anyways. They should PAY for their mistakes, we have to!!! (Through the nose, and probably a couple of other extremities), So-To-Speak. Course, you probably gotta have a bunch of money to spend on that sort of thing, I'm not sure about that part... ?

You could try to go it alone, but they may not respond to you - if that's the case, join the class action. My condolences.
