I am currently in the restaurant business and I hate it. I am very good at what I do but I am sick and tired of serving other people and the money isn't as good as it used to be. I'm looking for hourly work that pays at least $12/hr and doesn't require a college degree. Any ideas?

phone sales, or try to get a job with an insurance company.......they pay well......but i say phone sales bcuz as an experienced server you would probably do well at it, like i did.........i have been a waitress on and off for 15 years and i did so good at phone sales i made so much money and all i had to do was sit in my office and talk on the phone all day.......hint: you must really believe in what ever it is you are selling.....and i say insurance company bcuz i worked at one in between jobs and did very well bcuz of my experience in customer service and made good money too

Crack whore. Lot's O' cash, you pick your own hours, choose your own clients and get high a lot. A career option that can't be beat. Makes me wish that I would have bypassed grad school.
