I haven't turned 18 yet, but I will in June. I plan to register to vote b/c...
"I don't oppose all wars. And I know that in this crowd today, there is no shortage of patriots, or of patriotism. What I am opposed to is a dumb war. What I am opposed to is a rash war." - Barack Obama
I personally believe that this is a war based on the interest of oil. Many U.S. soldiers are dying in a civil war that they don't even belong in. I remember learning from AP US that George Washington said not to intervene in any foreign affairs in his farewell address. Way to go Bush. -_-

MUCH too early to tell. I'd rather focus on the baseball season for a while first.
But, I'd like a genuine conservative. One who will fight for America, defend our borders, and continue the economic gains we're enjoying as a result of the tax cuts.

the one that will do the best for america...regardless of party....they will have to be honest, have solutions that make sense...not denigrate other politicians...cut government waste and fraud..follow the laws about immigration , crime, and business....be of a good moral character, above reproach in fact...not take any money from any foreign gov't, or orgs from foreign countries...make our military the strongest and best in the world, able to be in multiple bad spots at a time if necessary..sort of a "peace through power" theme...be willing to sell to the world that what is good for america, our allies and our interests is our first and only option when looking for solutions to problems...and the willingness to be charitable, yet forceful in our relationships with other countries...and expect the same from them...

I'm a conservative Republican so I'll vote for the one who wins the primary. My interests are war in the middle east, taxes, and government spending.
