Granny Weatherwax from the Terry Pratchett novels. She's frigging brilliant. You think she's beaten for sure this time, and then realize at the end she's so clever there never really was a chance to beat her in the first place.

It's hilarious to watch vampires crave tea.

A day ago the future had looked aching and desolate, and now it looked full of surprises and terror and bad things happening to people... If she had anything to do with it anyway.
-- Granny Weatherwax commits optimism (Terry Pratchett, Maskerade)

'I might not know much about good and evil, but I'm pretty good on right and wrong'."

"Flowers For Algernon" by Daniel Keyes is a sci-fi book that affected me deeply. It's about a lad with a low IQ who becomes a human test subject for brain surgery and is turned into a genius for a while. The book shows how his life changes as his intellect develops but the effect is not lasting and he must prepare to make the return journey to his former self and ultimately for death.

Seems to be some confusion about what the word 'incredible' means. I assume you intended the correct meaning of 'impossible to believe', rather than the interpretation many people appear to be using: 'toadally alsome'.

I'd vote for God, btw. Pretty much any and all of them. Except Budgie Bill.
