Let me know what scenes from what anime did you guys got really emotional? The best tragic answer gets 10 points!

For me:
1. I was watching Trigun, episode 17 where Rem sacrificed herself to save the humans onboard PROJECT SEEDS and launched Vash and Knives into the escape pod, the part where Rem seperate from Vash was really sad, and when the ship exploded, and Vash started weeping, so did I.

2. The second time was when onboard this other ship. Vash, Milly, Wolfwood, Meryle and Jessica, and Brad. Brad likes Jessica and is jealous that Vash is Jessica's favorite. Later Brad stepped in front of one of Gung-ho Gunz' gun to protect Vash, and Brad kind of confessed and regret that he could not be with Vash and others more, it was just really sad, and unbearable that Brad, when he was just getting along really well with Vash, died so tragically.

3. Another is from the really old anime called Galaxy Train 999. For some wierd reason, the part where Tetsuro's mom's dead body hanging as a center piece in the Robot Duke's dining room always remained in my mind to this day. Also, when Tetsuro and Mabelle broke through the droid resistence, and the Attendant droid---suppose to resemble females began clutching their and then their faces and hands breaks apart--it's very tragic too, for something really very none human. Also the part where hundreds of droids were sucked into the black hole and the way they scream as they dies.....

In Naruto when Shikamaru came back from his first real mission (Sasuke retrieval) and realized he had failed since Naruto came back along. He was staring at the floor and started crying... so sad!

Technically not anime, but the episode of Avatar when Uncle Iroh spends the day doing kind things for others in rememberance of his son who died years ago. And he sings the song he used to sing when his son was little. Then as if that wasn't sad enough, they also dedicate the episode to Mako who did Uncle Iroh's voice that had JUST passed away.

I cried a little when Ichigo and Rukia had to say goodbye after the Soul Society arc... you know they were both torn up inside they are so stubborn!

I cry all the time when I watch InuYasha because it is so emotionally charged. The back story is this horrible romantic tragedy and then as soon as the man characters start caring back comes the dead girl...(dont ya just hate it when that happens to you? LOL)

Rumiko Takahashi has a real gift for pulling the emotional rug out from under a person. Specifically..

Return to the place where we first met
The most dangerous confession of monk Miroku
The first time we saw InuYasha's tears
InuYasha disappears into a River of Flames
Kagome's Instinctive Choice
Change Heartache into Courage

Theres just too many for me to name. Also the first Movie the scene in the snow by Goshinboku, The Kiss in Mov 2, InuPoppas appearance in Mov 3, Movie 4 just reeked so bad it made me cry. :-P

I also cried During Fullmetal Alchemist at the end when Edward died, and at Hughes funeral when Mustang says "it's going to rain today"

And it's totally freaking LAME but I cried in the 1st pokemon movie when Ash was turned to stone. Yeah, Yeah, go ahead and laugh at me.

Don't know if this counts as an anime, but I definitely cried during "Grave of the Fireflies" (the Studio Ghibli film).

I think my parents did too, when I showed it to them last Thanksgiving (we have some odd traditions in our family, and one of them is that every Thanksgiving, we must watch a really depressing movie).

i dont really remember them all though, some animes get me soo emotional! that's what i hate about being a girl, too much emotion!

the only one i remember are the inuyasha episodes
ep.#147 A Fateful Love Song from Before we Met ( 1) ep.#148 A Fateful Love Song from Before we Met (2)

its when you see how inuyasha and kikyo's love was
soo sad how they were betrayed and pitted against each other though they were in love.

In the final episode of Chobits, at the end, when Chi was ordered to erase her data and shut down (which put her in automatic), I cried, because I wanted Chi and Hideki to stay together.

Hideki is human, and Chi is a persocom (human-shaped personal computer).

**SPOILER ALERT - NARUTO FANS****
I cried watching the episode of Naruto when they all attend the Hokage's funeral. It was a real tearjerker. It's on Cartoon Network tonight. I'll probably cry even harder watching the english one because I won't be distracted reading the subtitles.

other than some video games, i really don't know much about anime...

however...in terms of video games...i have gotten angry when playing an twice actually...once in "the legend of dragoon" when a key character has to die. and again in "baten kaitos", when another key character ends up being a traitor. grrr. lol
