Apart from "have a nap." I mean when that doesn't work...

(And, in my experience, "you'll feel better in the 2nd trimester" is working out to be a lie.)

Nothing has helped me but actually sleeping. I sleep 12 hours at night and then still take about a 3 hour nap in the day. If your body is telling you to rest, then rest. It's a lot of work to grow a baby!

Excessive fatigue was my biggest dilema. I had no morning sickness, but the fatigue really bugged me! I napped as much as possible, but other than that, there was no way around it. It wasn't until I was 25 weeks that the doctors discovered i was "grossly anemic." That might be your problem too, so get it checked out to be on the safe side.

I got off of work and slept. My midwife put me on Floredex and changed my diet to more protein. I had more energy for the last month 1/2 of the second trimester. I am in my thrid now and more tired again... but not as bad. I slept constantly at first

Oh man, I hated that...

If you've napped all you can, then lay around with your feet up and sip water or tea. Going for a nice walk may also help. I also found prenatal massages very nice, because they were relaxing and pampering.

Edit: and make sure you're getting enough iron. Iron deficiency will exacerbate your fatigue

Hmmm what worked and works for me is that i drink ALOT of water and i try to take a walk everyday outside. Excersise like walking really helps trigger energy. Try eating more protein and i also take alot of vitamins. Maybe you have low iron. I did.

You just deal with it. There is no cure. And no it really doesn't get better until AFTER you have the baby. It's all part of the wonderful world of pregnancy.

Are you taking your prenatal? Next time you see the doctor or even just call him now, and let the doctor know your feeling like this. I used to take Iron that helped me alot!
