I'm 14 and I want to pierce my lip. How can I do this and how much will it hurt? I got my ears done today by a professional and didn't feel anything. Well, please tell me what to do cause my mom said she won't sign for it and don't want my lip pierced. By the way if this helps I was wanting it 1 on both sides of the bottom lip with those hoops. Thanks =]

There is a reason as to why your mother won't let you.
Did you ask her what that is? Did you listen?
Why don't you wait till your 18 and then you can pierce anything you want to. And then if you regret it, it'll be on your own decision and you will be the only one to blame if you don't like it.
Coming on here and asking people how to do pierce you lip after your mother said no is disrespectful. She said no for a reason and you should respect that.

The reason your ears didn't hurt is because the lower part of your ear does not have many pain receptive nerves.
Your lips on the other hand are extremely sensitive. Iike when you eat spicy food your lips burn.
I don't think you can do it on your own. Your lips are alot thicker than your ears so you will need a professional grade piercing instrument to do it. If you try it yourself, it won't go through all the way and you'll end up in alot of pain without a pierced lip.
You could also end up with keloid's which is when a piercing doesn't heal properly and you get scarred skin bubbles that grow over your piercing, which is not only gross, but can also lead to a bad infection.
Figure out a way to get it professionaly done!

It doesn't hurt. The piercing you want is called snake-bites.
I'd get it done professionally if I were you, or get a friend to take you or be your guardian. It doesn't hurt if its done professionally, if you dont do it professionally, you can damge your lip and get bumps where the piercing is, and overfilled with puss, and maybe scars. So get it done professional and it will be easier, faster, and won't get infected.
If you do get it pro, make sure to clean your piercing well and etc. I'd wait till your at least 16, come on you can wait, 14 is too young, I'm 16, and piercings need a lot of respondsibility for real, you have to clean them and take care of them and your parents will probably get mad, when your 16 and you have an id, you can get the piercing by yourself. well at least its here like that. but good luck, id get a friend who is a piercer or go to a pro piercing place to get it doen though, since its ur lips, thats a sensitive area.

DO NOT DO IT!! If you're going to do it, go to a professional. There was this girl at my school who pierced her own lip and she was fine for a few days but then she had to go to the hospital because it was infected and it got really serious.

You can use a needle... my friends do it... but i bet it hurts a lot and it could deffinately get infected. Plus you would have to hide it from ur parents all the time.... is it really worth it?

i wanna have a nose piercing but i heard that it hurts really badly
and i believe that lip piercings hurt so much more

ummmmmmmmmmm with a needle. But I highly don't reccomend it it hurts a lot! You might even pass out!

my friend cassie did it herself. said it didnt hurt, and she has never had any trouble at all with it. no infections nothing
