depends...i was caught with a kilo on my lap and did no time...i think the cops used the dope for themselves....however, i did hear "i didnt inhale" is a pretty good excuse since clinton was in office...

I don't know what the laws are in your area but where I live it is a misdemeanor and you just get a fine as long as you don't get caught with too much. they may take you to the station until the effects wear off or hold you for your parents if you are a miner but there is no prison time

There is no prison time for smoking weed, as long as you don't get caught. Possession, sale, distribution, intent to sell, cultivation, etc.- that's another story!

Possession of marijuana is a misdemeanor in Kentucky and has a maximum penalty of 12 months in jail (not prison).
However different states have different laws.

Depends where you live. Most places no jail for weed. It's a ticketable offense with a small fine.
