Of course any boy with any common sense is going to say those things to get what he wants, even if he cares about you. I'm not saying he doesn't care about you, although you could find out for sure if you said you didn't want to. Then if he stays with you, he cares for sure.

Well, you say that you would have sex in a heartbeat, yet you know you're too young. You've answered your own question hun. If he loves you like he says (which is most likely infatuation), he would wait. 16 is too young and until you know that you can handle the responsibilities of being a mother, and putting your life on hold, you should wait.

Besides, you're in high school. You should ALWAYS be worried about diseases. When I was in high school (graduated 2001), all of the popular people were infected with gonorrhea, an STD. You never know what another person has until you BOTH get tested. Should you decide to have sex, make sure you use protection.

I personally don't think 16 is too young but at the same time it could be for some people. If you feel that you are ready and that when you do do this you don't feel as if you made a huge mistake then go take the chance with him. If he says he loves you and that its up to you then he seems like a good guy to do it with. Just be sure you won't have any regrets in the end.
P.S. To tell him just say Hey do you remember about what you asked me? He'll say sure then you can say Well I'm ready or feel as if I need more time.

are you sure you completely trust him? because there are always stories about guys who have sex with their girlfriend, then the girlfriend gets pregnant and the guy leaves her cause he doesn't want to be responsible for the baby. it's really sad. and using protection doesn't mean you won't get pregnant for sure, there is still a possibility, so if you are prepared for the possibility of getting pregnant then yes, you are ready. but 16 is a little young, you should probably wait a few more years. you don't want to do anything you'll regret later on.

did u no that protection only prevents about 3% of the diseases that u can get that can cause aids??
did u also no that once u do it it has been scientifically proven and proven by hundreds of psychiatrists that if u do eventually break up u r emotionally scarred??
also protection is only about 95% accurate is that a chance u might want to take??
i dont mean to be harsh but i just want to warn u girl to girl, but in the end, the decision is up to you

good luck i hope u make the right choice

i lost my virginity when i was 16 i was with my boyfriend for 6 months when we had sex for the first time. its been 2 years and were still together and i dont regret it. so its really up to you even tho your going to use protection you have the possibility of still getting pregnant so you have that to think about. make its a very presious thing to yourself so make sure YOUR ready, dont tell your self that your ready just becasue you know that your boyfriend wants to ahve sex, its up to you! and if you do decide to and you wanna let him know without actually telling him, just have make out session with him and when you feel ready un button his pants an/or slide your hand up his shirt and start make sexually movements even take your shirt off and move his hands to places on your body he will deffinetly get the clue. good luck!!

WOW!!! You think 7 months is enough to tell you that you are in love and need to have sex? Sex has nothing to do with loving someone. Not to impose my religion on you, but God made sex for marriage. Like he specifically made it for men and women when they are married. I understand you may WANT to, but do you think it will make your relationship better? What do you think he is gonna do after you guys do it? You know he is gonna go tell all his friends, and what happens when it gets around? Then people will just think you are a... know what i mean? Or what happens if he tells people after you break up? "Oh ya, we did it!" People are going to think bad things about you. Is it really worth your reputation? In the end, its all up to you, its your body and your life. But obvioulsy you want some input if you are asking on here. And to tell you the truth, I think you are asking on here because part of you DOESN'T want to do it and you want someone to give you a good reason not to! But that is just me! As you can probably tell, I'm really against pre-marital sex, and I hope I helped you, and even though its up to you, I hope you wont have sex with him! God bless and good luck!

I think that u shouldn't have sex with him. And i think that 16 is to young to have sex at. But if u decide to have sex the best way to tell him would be to kind of bring it back up in a convo and ask him if he would like to. Its up to u ; )

Personally, I think people should wait until they are married before having sex... my friend who are around 14-15 have had sex (i haven't) and they always have to worry about getting diseases or having a baby. I think until you have a wedding ring on your finger you should hold off on sex. But if you do have sex... make sure you won't regret it later on.
