I don't think there are any nihilists. If anybody really believed that nothing was of any value, they would have no basis on which to perform any action.

Why eat? It doesn't matter. Why get up in the morning? Why do anything? It can't possibly make any difference.

But everybody does something. Thus it's more of a slur or an adjective than an actual description. You can be nihilistic, but nobody is really a nihilist.

In some sense of the word, I am a nihilist. I feel that I am living a happy life.

I believe in the following things. I can't get into detail because it would take too long.

I believe in God.
Everything that has ever happened or will happen, ultimately has no reason for happening.
I believe we should develop faith in Jesus.
I believe we should use pure logic in all of our decisions.
I believe in evolution.
I believe in the creation.
I believe that teachers shouldn't lead prayers, or the pledge of allegiance in schools.
I believe in the freedom of religion.
I believe that nothing we do can change the fixed future.
I believe that we all have free will.

I don't believe anything I've stated above is contradictory.
I am not crazy, but if I was I wouldn't know it.

Their lives have no meaning to them. Some say that a life without meaning is a life well lived, but people say a lot of things. What is making ME happy now seems to be their M.O. Random and pointless is a bit subjective given the butterfly effect, i mean social workers need jobs to right? Maybe they have jobs but they do not follow their passion.

I do believe so. I'm not nihilistic myself, but I can see that it would not preclude happiness. Consider:

Life is empty and meaningless.

But the music is playing, so you might as well dance!

(The dance doesn't have to "mean" anything, either!)

No. There are those who would make the claim but I would not believe such and absurd statement.
They try but they don't achieve it.~~~~
