If I have to leave it on, which I have tried, how do I keep my iPod from turning off?

the iPod will basicly go into a sleep mode. You could use it, but you dont have to. The iPod will automaticly go into a charging screen

u dont need to turn on your iPod it charges on or off it dont matter but i would leave off thats just the way i do it

ok its better if you kep it off when you dont use it.......keep in the computer to charge and pause music.....when you are not at you house and you need to turn off your ipod hold the pause button and switch the hold button found at the top of your ipod. when you flip the lil switch it shoul be orange.

No. It actually charges faster if you keep it off

You don't have to keep it on to charge it. :)
