I do not know if you have a harbor freight in area but they do sell what they term or call a lock out set...
it consists of several things about 10-12 parts...
a slim jim, a plastic loop for catching lock knobs of 60's and 70's cars... some slim rods bent special to drop under the glass and catch the release lock rod etc.
but what you're after from it is a set of 2 plastic wedge blocks they're scratch resistant and wont harm the paint...
you drive these into the top of the gap of the door one near the rear of door frame top other say 8-12" apart from it
you lightly tap them in place with a hammer or plastic mallet...
this leave you a gap which you will be able to get past the rubber door seal without damage with about a 1/8" solid rod bent just enough to push on the unlock button of the door panel inside...
(you can buy these rods at most hardware stores very cheap) use the box end of a box end wrench to help make the bends or the hole at the end of a crescent wrench will also work
the car will unlock from the unlock button activation... pull the outer handle after removing the wedges ...
no harm, no foul done... this is how th pros do it

Pay the $20 for a locksmith. None of the cellphone garbage will work. Remotes are either RF or IR. In either case, a cell phone will not transmit these signals. Besides, all cars are programmed to be different. That way theives couldn't just drive around with a remote door opener and get into everyone's cars.

If your CTS has a Keyless Entry System, you may be in luck...if you have a relative who has another keyless entry remote, but not around, call them up, ask them to hold the remote to their cell phone and push the unlock button, while you hold your cell phone about a foot away from the car. If it doesn't have a KES, your best bet is a Slim Jim, a wrecker driver, or a locksmith.

Just call a locksmith and he can do it in a minute and won't damage the weatherstripping which is quite expensive to repair. Don't mess up your car for a 25-35 buck charge.

thats actually true about the keyless entry. just make sure that both of you are on cell phones, because regular phones dont transmit the signal like cell phones do.

Throw yourself against the window (head first), if you do it hard enough you will be able to get in, grab the key and go back home....
