oh, yes!! i am a huge fan of ballet flats. i'm very tall for my age, and they give me [enough] support but not tons of extra height and are very much an it item, and apparently aren't going away any time soon. here are some great spring styles for you to try, which will update the shoe:
1. peep-toes are very in right now! (not just with flats, pumps and other styles,too)
2. bright colors (primaries; red, blue, yellow...)
3. metallic, patent... futuristic styles: you may not want to go head to toe in astronont gear, but by buying a 'futuristic' pair of ballet flats you can get a little piece of the popular trend
those are some easy to copy (and easy to find) ways to wear the ballet flat. by the way, let me share a secret...
i saw some suuuper cute Marc Jacobs 'jelly' (slightly rubbery-if you nkow what i mean, very comfy to wear) ballet flats on uber sale for $105 on net a porter. i don't know if they're still there... but i'd snatch them up if they are!

Regular ballet slippers will not give your feet any support. But yes, the ballet slipper STYLE is very much in vogue now, and lots of stores carry the kind that look flat and like real ballet slippers, but give your feet some support. They also come in various colors now. Go for it!

Yes , ballet's are still in. They look great with the skinny jeans or leggings(long or short) worn with a shirt dress.

a yeah i wear them everyday i have 7 pairs no way I'm gonna get rid of them cause there out of style who cares i think they are still in cause stores like nine west, Steve madden, Aldo, bakers, and other are still making and selling flats
