The software said that in order to renew my subscription, I would have to pay 50 bucks for the software. WELL, lets just say, I don't want to have to pay that much. I was wondering if there was any free internet anti-virus software out there that I could download.

Ya! Avast! Antivirus www.avast.com!
It just saved me 15 minutes ago while I was installing this so called "DVD Player" it popped up saying "Trojan Horse Detected" and deleted the virus. It works, I have installed it on over 10 computers never had a problem. It is better than Norton or anything you buy. It scans your computer's email, web files, internet, limewire...everything in real time.
Better than AVG!

Use a free one rather than pay. AVG & SuperAntiSpyware, for example.
You could also upgarde to Linux and be virus free as well.

go to add and remove programs and uninstall it then go to
