Believe it or not a good portion of people in the ghetto aren't bad. The media mostly puts out the image of only blacks doing wrong, but never shows whites when they do wrong. Unless its a child molester.

wel because if a man with raggy clothes was coming towards me, i would be scared because he looks like a gangster. so they should wear proper clothes and then i wouldnt be scared. its all about the clothes not the skin color. cuz if a white person with disgustin raggedy hair and clothees came up to me i would spray their eyes with mase and run.
about the driving thru the ghetto thing, well i would lock my doors b/c its stereotypical and true that in the ghetto they tend to steal and i dont want my car robbed. but i would also lock my doors in a trailer park theres no difference.

Because they are arrogant. They think , just because they are different ,they are not as good as them. They should learn more about that person before assuming things about them. This goes with any race or religion. But, I think black people are being judged like that because of the how they are seen on TV and movies. They stereotype all of them as "bad people". I'm experiencing the same thing with my people. After 911 everyone thought all Muslims were terrorist, but we are not. We don't teach suicide bombing and killing a whole Punch of people to make a statement. We teach peace. These are just a few of the Muslims that make are religion look bad , so everyone just stereotypes us because of them. They are not true Muslim's anyways ,because they are doing the opposite of what our religion tells them to do. Same with black people , they are stereotyped by the few black people that do bad things. I have so much respect for them , because I have to deal with the same thing they deal with. But, they had it so much worse than us , like slavery . That's my opinion on that.

That is not the norm - but this argument comes up regularly like it's gospel truth, across the board. There is no use in perpetuating the stereotype mr. black.

I would never drive through the ghetto, that would be just asking for trouble. The people who think they are bad probably live near an area that is really bad that has mostly blacks, so they just lump them all together thinking they are all the same, and they couldn't be more wrong.

I live in a black neighborhood and don't seem to have a problem with them. they are kind and considerate to me. black people do more then kill each other. they like to live laugh and love just like white people! I had more problems in the white neighborhood that i lived that i decided to move to a black area. if they were killing each other and had the most of
the health problems that white America says they would be non-existent. I tell my children always keep your mind open you never know what you can learn from that person.

You must have never been jumped for being white. Being told to get out of their neighborhood was a joke considering I lived there when it was a clean white neighborhood.

Deep down inside, everyone knows the history of our people in this country and they know we're angry because of it.

People feel like we are going to take our anger out on them which in most cases we aren't even thinking like that.

Most people don't realize that locking car doors and trying to avoid us is what makes most of us angry.
