Im not saying that we should all listen to filthy ungodly music. I am Christian but feel that the music just blows. Not many songs have meaningful lyrics considering they are all about the same thing. Christian music isn't really as popular as it should be and I feel this is why. If god wants his word to be spread I think he should take some time to make the music at least a little better. Underoath is a example of crappy christain music.

Well firstly, Christian music is all about one thing. It has one theme. There is no other theme. So that's why it sounds like everything is so repeating.
And your entitled to your own opinion, but i LOVE Underoath, because they are christians who enjoy writing and playing music for the lord. Hence the fact they are Christian Rock.
&& yes there is such a thing.

Cuz every single one talks bout the same thing. But you should know that the reason the music sucks is because the bible says that you should glorify his name by songs of worship. that means the really slow music, not any kind of rap, rock, or other type of music.

Not all Christan music is down beat if u find the right people like kirk Franklin and out of Eden they have upbeat songs

Maybe you should listen to gospel music instead. Too much of today's "Christian music" is not really Christian, its only trying to appeal to today's youth. Secular music appeals to your flesh, not your soul and heart.

Why don't you start writing lyrics and send them into music companies? Pray about it, if this is something you are passionate about maybe God is calling you to take action.

You`re so right. If we could come up with some better music I would listen to it all the time. If they could come up with better melodies and lyrics that don`t put you to sleep that would be great.
