the PS3 wont be $300 for a very long time, its best just to stick with the PS2 or xbox for now until the price does drop..

While there have been massive price drops, you may have to wait a year or two for a brand new PS3 for $300.

Looking online @ http://ps3bible.com/Playstation-14210711-Consoles.html , the 60GB PS3 is now at $599 and oddly enough the 20GB PS3 is more expensive at $719.

No but if you go to gamestop and give them a PS2, 8mb memory card for PS2, and 1 PS2 controler you get $100 off your PS3.
Wich means:
Original Now
60gb $600 $500
20gb $500 $400

first of all, the purple ring in basic terms occurs in case you have the 1st version of the 360. yet that version replaced into removed from the cabinets after launch. the 2nd version is what they sell now and in basic terms over heats in case you flow away it on for like 2 or 3 days. i think of you will possibly desire to get the 360. via the way, in my view the PS3 sucks incredibly undesirable.

I think you have to go to a pawn shop who sells them for about $450 or so, otherwise, wait a few years.
