I hid in a "changing room" and looked in the mirror.

"hi, how are you, how have the years been to you?"

After 10 years.. people change, move on with their life and tend to grow up.... why hide?

Yea, you could do that or go right up to him and tell him how well you and Biff and the kids Buffie & Bobby are and how they love swimming in the pool and how your Porche had a flat tire last week, but you knew about it because it has a light that comes on before it goes flat, and how the ladies "do" lunch at the country club on Tuesdays.

Have fun with it!!

I would smile at him and ask him how he's doing. If he's ultra negative, then I would just say "well I see you haven't changed in the last 10 years." You shouldn't be afraid of your ex, because even though you used to date, he/she doesn't deserve you and you deserve better, and you should flaunt what you have. {{yes I'm VERY egotistical}}

lol....I would prolly not be too nervous unless i had really changed a lot....like gotten really fat or something. But I am sure that I would not really react after 10 yrs I probably wouldn't have any kind of feelings for him that would cause me to feel like I should react.

Surprised, stunned, and then old memories would rush back into my head. I would start hearing weird twilight zone music in my head. I would start to convulse and pass out from the fear of the unknown. Then I would regain my feet and casually say, "Hi, how have you been?"

I still get butterflies when I see my ex and we've been divorced for 25 years. I'd say hello and ask him how he's been. No big deal.

I would say hello. Hope that I was looking good at the time so that he would eat his heart out since I was the one who left him.
