Hi, i would like to make my own website, but my catch is that i want to host very large files (700mb -1 gig) on my site itself, or through links to another site. I will need unlimited bandwidth for the hosting site, and i don't mind having to pay for it.

After switching host around so many times the only one I use now and recommend is host gator:

I have all 15 of my sites under 1 plan and pay about $15 a month. I have 1000's of images and have never even come close to going over.
Their customer support is great and they offer 99.9% uptime guarantee and of course money back guarantees!

Good Luck!

NO HOST WILL EVER GIVE YOU UNLIMITED SPACE AND BANDWIDTH. They say they will - but read the fine print. They will shut you off saying you "use too much server resources"

Thus said - the BEST option that you have is to lease a dedicated server! Contact DependableHost.net (888-223-1843), let them know what you're looking for - and they can help you out - as they have with me. I've got 4 dedicated servers with them, outstanding service and their server support team rocks!

You can host your site at SiteGround (www.siteground.com) They offer virtually unlimited space and more tools to work on your site than I can name. They also include a Content Management System you can install to help manage your files. I'm paying only $8/month.

Those are not particularly large files. Most hosts can readily accommodate what you need. Just google "web hosting".
