how can I change the page numbers for a part of the document? from 1,2... to A-1, B-1?? Thanks

its microsoft word, I'm writing my thesis and the last part (Appendix) should be nubered: A-1.

Sometimes it can be quite a process in Word if you don't know what you're doing. It usually requires that you unlink the header and footer sections of one page's link to the previous page.
