Expecting an honest answer from males in this instance is probably harder than you expect. 9/10th's of males are emotionally retarded, lets face facts here. I'm not stereotyping males...but they can be cold emotionally. They aren't like women. Women show how they feel more openly and express it.

I think most guys would miss their girlfriends after breaking up with them. But it really depends on the circumstances of the break up. But I don't think you ever really just forget about them. I mean, they've been a part of you. And there must have been a connection there for both of you to become girlfriend and boyfriend.

I think you just need to remember, males don't express pain very well. They feel it. They just aren't willing to show it. It would go against the 'masculine' thing guys do.

I have gone through COUNTLESS girlfriends...two of which I lived with and "was supposed to marry one day"...(yeah right, hehe).

When they left, I called up the guys and told them I had been emancipated. Life is so wonderful single, I can't even believe God has given us such a gift. To spend life with your friends and get drunk all day and watch Family Guy is truely the meaning of life. I can't believe how much time, money, and effort I have wasted on women. That's a lot of Everclear I could've bought.

What Michael said, I used to have those kind of feelings like a light switch, if you pissed me off, you were dead to me as far as I was concerned. I have since then learned to control my emotions and be more forgiving.
