My fish have both fin rot and ich, and I currently have 2 separate medications for both of them. Can they be used simultaneously?

That depends on the type of medication you are using. The bottles should tell you what they contain and if they can be used with other products (or not used with ).

a lot of fish infections/illnesses are secondary, like you are experiecning. If you dont have melafix or pimafix, i would recommend getting one or both quickly. They are natural antibiotic/fungus meds. They can be used with any other medication and they do not affect your bactieral cycle.

Most times people find that secondary bacterial infections are caused by parasites, this is normal and they will tell you that as long as the bottle says "can be used with X med" it is ok. If the bottle says "do not use with any other treamtnets" then dont.

However, I have had very good experiences with melafix and pima fix.

They should say on the bottle if they shouldn't be used together.
