All of the answers here are more or less good. We "are" looking for that inner beauty. What is inner beauty?

If you love them all that problems disappear .because you would the inner beauty which a lot of people don't see.
When you love someone and I mean deeply love with someone you don't pay attention to the outside of them in what they say and do for you that you would look at more.

When we are in Christ, He gives us what we need to be able to love someone
in spite of everything. We may intensely dislike what the person does, but we are called to love. As for defects--I am 65, have not been blessed with good health, walk with a cane, have Dystonia, [that's lots of fun], have 4 kinds of arthritis, and I am imperfect. But, God gave me the most awesome husband who has lived up to--'in sickness and in health." He had Lymphoma a few years ago, & I was with him--'in sickness & in health.' My husband is 75 and the best there is. We are totally committed to each other. It's a choice and if you make the wrong one, guess who the loser is? It could be the one staring
back at you from the mirror.

To not be judgemental is a hard feat to do all the time, but with practice it gets easier... but it is what we all need to learn to accomplish, being non-judgemental... And if you truly love them, you will have already seen past their defects... Re-assure them that no matter what their defect, someone loves them and cares for them...

If you truly love someone or if someone truly loves you they don't see a defect all they will see is you. I have two children with a rare skin disease and I love them for who they are not what they look like....

You don't see past them, you accept them as part of who they are, see them as a positive.
