Yes, Tom Baker definitely. Recall it vividly. Guess that puts me in your erm, 'era'.

Maybe we should go on that show that I watched once and never watched again...thirtysomethings, I think it was called, but then my memory isn't what it used to be...must be the age... lol.

I started out watching when it was Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred (character: Ace). I used to enjoy it back then but I had nothing to compare it with. These days the programme has more depth and gets you on an emotional level rather than being pure adventure story. I've also watched the very first programmes (William Hartnell) on DVD now and they are also worth watching.

John Pertwee for me so that should make you feel like a spring chicken lol! I think John was the best Dr.Who but without the Daleks and cybermen it wouldn't be worth watching!

Wow ... you are definitely younger than I am ... because I remember the first Dr. Who (Hartnell), and I saw that when I was stationed overseas as a young woman on Active Duty with the US Military! I still think the OLDER gentlemen who play Dr. Who are more "believable" (Fabulous!) than the younger ones ......
