On Yahoo Messenger, I need to know who someone is chatting with?

A person running scams on messenger, also on Myspace
is still free.

I want to warn people so they can be aware and also catch a criminal.

cant be done dont worry about it, thats been going on for years, sometimes a virus plays a roll too

You can just report them to Yahoo! Staff and they will delete the account. They are very serious about this and will get on your case right away.
