Today, I was leaving track practice and about to take the bus home. When I got in the bus, I asked the bus driver to hold on because I needed to look for my bus pass in my bag. I couldnt find my bus pass and the driver was about to kick me off the bus when some guy just a little older than me (I'm 15) came from the back of the bus and payed for me to ride the bus. I was in a shock because I've never done something like that to any other person and I felt like I was having a change of heart. Later on that day, I found a cellphone on the floor on my way home and it was a real nice sidekick III and when I saw a girl looking desperatly for something I asked her and she said it was hers and she was looking for it. I guess that guy came into my head because normally I would have kept that phone. What do you think about this?

It's called payin it forward.. Ever see the movie? It really does happen. If somebody does something nice for you, most people will want to pay it forward somehow... help somebody else out, or offer the person who helped you out a favor. Didn't you feel so much better after you gave that girl her phone? If you hadn't you probably would have felt guilty for the rest of your life

That is awesome. More people need to step up like the kid on the bus did so more people can be like you were when you found the cellphone. "Pay it forward" so to speak. I have done things out of my way for others and have faith that it will come back around eventually. Keep up the good deeds...it's even more fun when you can do it anonymously. It's harder to keep to yourself though. Good job!

I have at times helped others and have had others help me.

I think that the person who helped you, touched your spirit and influenced you in a positive way.
