i got my ears peirced 6 weeks ago. i got it done with a needle not a gun. i have 16g earings in now. what size should i go to next and when should i start? when or should i start using tapers?

You should wait about a month between sizes to ensure that it has fully healed. You can get tapers and do them at home, or go to a piercer and have them do it for you (if you bring your own jewelery, it is a lot cheaper). I never recommend skipping sizes because it can tear or even stretch unevenly. Kudos to you for getting it done with a needle.

i think you should wait a little longer before you stretch..
but yeah when you do stretch, start with 14g and i think you'll be alright without a taper until you get to 10g
