Who has stolen one of my socks from the washing machine?
And why do you always just steal one sock?

I feel certain it was one of the midgets getting back at you for turning the hose on them...or maybe the elephant?

That's actually how your washer operates (people think it's electricity but they're wrong!). There is a gremlin in the machine that survives by consuming a sock each week. If you wash a lot of clothes it may need more, but it is generally one sock per week.

I came in while you were sleeping, just to check on you. I had lost one of my socks along with my gym shoe; I found the shoe but could not locate the sock; I think your cat ate it, so since I only needed one, well, you know the rest. By the way, thanks for the sock, I shall return next time I lose just one so sleep with one eye open.

It is a thing washers across the country gang up on us just to steal one of our socks to see if we throw the other one away! Then when we do it spits it out again ;o)

Ok I admit it, I have several independant socks in various sizes and colours, my washing machine is in league with the tardis it takes the pair for a spin and when its done one of the blighters has legged it!
Thinking of advertising them on the net, you know

Blue sock only 8 seeks partner, into shoes, trainers and boots, occassionaly has poor hygiene but mostly foot loose and fancy free. Fed up hanging around in the basket waiting for my sole mate to arrive all suitables hot foot it to me asap. no nail biters please!

Im sorry .....It just when I get nervous instead of smelling my hands ( I like to smell others ppls socks! Especially strangers, I only took one I swear, the other one must be stuck in there somewhere LOL

well,there's a black hole in the washing machine and they go to outer space!!on the other side of the hole you will find your sock and about 3 million more lost socks!!!

It was the soap sum monster that lives under the washer drum, he steals them to drive people crazy!
