who is scared of thunder and lightning ?
My Jack Russell------Baby
she has always--literally gone stir--stark raving nuts
--- the only thing that works to calm her down is to
let her get under bed covers and lay down beside her
otherwise-- she just goes ballistic !!!

People who have a fear of rainstorms or thunderstorms are said to have ombrophobia, from the two Greek words Ombros, meaning rainstorm or thunderstorm and Phobia, meaning fear of. I would suggest headphones and some beautiful Chopin or Mozart with the window shades closed during such storms.
