Who thinks Clark Kent just needs a good whoopin?

I've been watching Smallville every week. And something I noticed is that Clark constantly ran off his mouth at his dad and his mom. I know his dad died, but even before that Clark constantly disobeyed him. If my son did that to me, I'd pull the belt out on his *** ,superman or not. Anyone Agree?

He was and is respectful to his parent(s), but he is a teenager and one who is extraordinary so I think he sometimes felt the need to rebel.
