how do you craft things on runescape?

Question

i bought molds and thread and have multitudes of soft leather. i even hav some sapphires and rubies. i am just at a loss of what to do with any of it

Buy a needle. use it and thread with the leather. :)

First, with the soft leather....if indeed your cowhides are already tanned into soft leather, all you need is a needle and thread. Have those two items in your inventory, along with the soft leather...use the needle with the leather, and you should get the option to craft items made from soft leather. Of course, depending on your crafting level, some items will be accessible and other will not.
Second, with your gems, if you have the required crafting level, use a chisel with the uncut gems. Next, take a mold (amulet, ring, necklace..whichever), the cut gem(s), and gold bar(s) - (one goldbar for each cut gem) to a furnace. Use a gold bar with the furnace, and depending on your crafting level, you will get the option to craft saphire rings, ruby amulets- or whatever you choose. After crafting these jewelry, if you have the required magic level, you can enchant these items.

First things first, you need the necessary level. For the following, I am assuming that you are level 1, which means you can only craft pots and gloves.

Gloves - Use a needle on some soft leather while you have thread in your inventory. An interface will open up asking you which item you would like to make. Click on the gloves (right-click if you want to make several)

Pot - Mine a clay, and soften it by using a container of water, like "Jug of Water", "Bucket of Water", and the like. Use the soft clay on a potter's wheel (there's one in a building in Barbarian Village, look south). An interface will appear, asking which item you would like to make. Click on the pot. Use the Unfired pot on the kiln. Again, right-click if you want to make several.

It all depends on your level it will tell you what you can make.
Rubies and sapphires are used with gold bars and molds.
thread is used with the soft and hard leather to make things.

KK start off by killing lots of cows and getting 'cow hide'
I recommend place near Al Kaeldi
Then you go to tanning booth in Al Kaeldi and you get leather

U need a needle and thread and then u use needle with leather to make boots......
Do this to raise it to a high level

For jewels, mine some gold, use a chisel with jewel to get a cut jewel and then use gold with furnace and u can make rings.....

if u want to noe, check manual on skills select crafting. and i can tell u that if u want to craft jewels, go mine gold ore, smelt and use a cut jewel with a ring, necklace or amulet mould. select gold bar, use it with furnace and there u go. for leather buy thread and pin then use pin on leather

Forgot meet waterdude125 on there.add him.hes mine.if u wanna make it high then go 2 the middle of lumbrdige castle and get wool thats not in a ball yet and make it into a ball and sell it for money if u want.
