You can stop cold turkey but what would be the fun in that?
You're freaking obsessed with points? So what? Isn't that exciting? Better be obsessed with points than with alcohol, sex, drugs or gambling...
I'm not obsessed with points. I don't know or even care how many I have (300? 1000?) or what level (what's a level, don't care). I wish I could give them all to you if you want them. But I'm obsessed with something...with answering, and learning, and trying to be different, and expressing my opinion, and hoping somebody will read what I write and reaching the high point when I'm chosen as best answer.
Without obsession, life would be just dull.
