I lost my wireless card software is there a way i can obtain it off the internet without having to pay fay for it again. I have the box it came in and the info to it. I ts a 3com 54Mbps 11g pc card. I have already downloaded it in my laptop. I am just trying to download it in my desktop or is it nessaccery. If not I also need to know why I am not getting a connection I have comcast cable High Speed internet am I doing something wrong?

Well what type of Access Point do you have? Comcast is a fine method of internet connection but the modem they give you does not include a wireless transmitter (access point) normally.
You will need a router with wireless to connect into.
Your laptop can then connect to it and your desktop will just plug into the box. Both can then be online and connected.

if you already downloaded it you just need to burn it on a cd and copy it on the desktop then install it no big deal!!
