my friend said she dont care how she looks no more because shes married and she dont want no other man to like her. i disagree cause thats why men cheat cause you let yourself go. you need to stay looking the way you met him so he wont look for the next cute chick. how do you feel?

I think that you should keep yourself looking like you did when you first met or even better....women in general should always keep up with their vanity.... and you are right about looking at other cute chicks... that's what will happen if she don't clean up her act.........it's known to happen so it wont be the first or the last. you will actually be surprised at the number of women who let their selves go and find their selves lonely........ i sure won't be one of them i keep my man tuned in... there's never a re -run with me... and that my Friend, is the attitude you want to keep .....

I think it's only considerate to keep looking after yourself after marraige. Sure, there's not as much preassure as before, but it's only right. Would she like it if her husband became a fat slob? Do unto others...
It's okay to take a day or so off from the hassels of making yourself beautiful, but in a marraige relationship, letting yourself go completely shows a large degree of disrespect to your partner.

No because why would you loose your potential when that is probably why they married you because of not only looks but your personality. Its like me saying when I get around my friends i wear anything. Which isn't cool because they probably noticed you for your fashion since or beauty. You can't look one way one day and look the total opposite the next.

i agree with you 100% although marriage should be more than just looks, there is no reason why anyone should feel they dont have to look their best because they already found the man of their dreams how would your friend like it if all of a sudden her husband stopped shaving and gained 45lbs and decided that he doesnt need anymore haircuts =]

Married or not who wants to let themselves go? No one really says "I want to be lazy and fat "Do they ? although there is something to be said for the comment about other men looking at her. There is a comfort in knowing you have your man.

No i dont think you should let yourself go. You should look your best for your husband. But i dont think that is why men cheat, i would hope there is more to it.

you shouldn't let yourself go. being married now doesn't mean she'll be married for life. (hopefully she will) she should look good for herself if not for anyone else. i don't know about you, but i feel good when ever i get a cute outfit or paint my nails. why would she want to stop that feeling? so...no she shouldn't let her self go.

what??? is your friend crazy??? i try to look my best every day, doesn`t matter if i`m single, dating, married...u should look after yourself so you can feel good about you, not just when u are trying to attract a man or whatever...it`s important because u just feel better about yourself when u know that u look good!!!
