Someone toled me that there was an episode of smallville where clark kent's dad got angry and pulled the belt out on him. Is this true?

I watch most episodes of Smallville and I don't remember anything like that.
Besides unless Clark's dad had a kryptonite buckle, it wouldn't work.

I don't think so. What happened was he shot him several times, when that didn't stop him, he threw the gun at him. It gets him every time.
